I realise that fuel consumption figures are never going to be good but I think it's worth it to drive such a great car. :y

I couldn't bring myself to buy a cheap little runabout such as a micra.

I'll probably change my mind when bankruptcy looms! ;D

My average is about 19mpg. 60% of my driving is town driving  :'(

When I picked the car up, I drove 200 miles on motorways between 65-75  all the way home (with the odd tiny blast here and there - seeing what acceleration was like from 50-75 ish) and my average was 34.5mpg which  I didnt think was bad for the 3L Auto.

I did once reset the MPG when I was in traffic, im NEVER doing that again though - to depressing looking at single figures! ;D

Thats my Exact reason for buying mine!

Dont mind paying a few quid extra every week to drive something which has all the toys and fab ride.

Will keep it untill I cant afford to run it any longer (Im only a student for another few months, so I SHOULD beable to manage!) :y
