Baby Car Seats Question
« on: 31 March 2007, 17:13:29 »

My little boy is now ready for the next size car seat (9 month to 4 years)

Apart from Britax who else has a fitment list for car makes and models?

Or any of you first hand recommendations for baby car seats that do fit in an Omega saloon (no isofix fittings as mine's a '98 model)

Cheers.

I've had quite a few car seats, at the moment i have 2 Britax ones in the back of my Meega and they fit very well. Seat belt goes through the back of the car seat, kneel in car seat  to squash it down and clamp it into place, does not move an inch :y Any car seat with similar fittings should be fine ;)

I have a Maxi-cosy Priory XP - no isofix but solid as a rock.  It has a small arm at the front that presses a bar against the seatbelt when tightened so you don't need to use your knee.  Easily moved between cars. Baby loves it and the recliner is easy to operate and it looks good too - Black & silver.  I bought mine from Halfords but found it cheaper at Kiddicare if you prefer mail order.  Halfords pic is better.

It's the Maxi Cosi i've got and i can recommend it.

Snug fit, doesn't budge and easy to remove if required. My kid loves it because it's quite tall so she can see out the window without any problems.

It also matches the interior very well.  :y

Got mine from Argos, i had gift vouchers to use up.  ::)
