Five years without a oil change
« on: 28 May 2009, 19:45:10 »

Rob at work has a Nissan 4X4. It sprank an oil leak today & so he investigates & finds that the oil filter has an hole in it. I leave him to it & when i see him next he says "i've sorted it, i've put a new one on".
Then he says that it looks like the original filter. "What do mean the original filter"? I ask. "Oh i haven't changed the oil since we bought it" he says. This is a 54 reg & he does short journeys every day :o :o :o :o :o So we are talking five long years without a change. Some folk ::) ::) ::) ::)

Your not alone, I work with a bloke, all he does is buy a car, run it for 3-4 years, all he does is put petrol in!

I feel sorry for the next buyer.

Yes, it costs him less, but the car must run so rough  :'(
