Yes, well after Sir Starmer and Lammy handed over the British Indian Ocean Territory to Mauritius, even agreeing to pay them for the pleasure, with barely a whimper, all these Third World Developing World Global South countries know that they are dealing with a very weak British government who are more interested in virtue signalling than actually doing what is in the British national interest.   

Don't be at all surprised if they do agree to hand over large wads of our cash to these people.

Sir Starmer has signed a document at the Commonwealth shindig in Samoa that says there should be discussions about reparations for historic slavery.

"Commonwealth leaders have agreed the "time has come" for a conversation about reparations for the slave trade, despite the UK's desire to keep the subject off the agenda at a two-day summit in Samoa.

A document signed by 56 heads of government, including UK Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer, acknowledges calls for "discussions on reparatory justice" for the "abhorrent" transatlantic slave trade."

They'll probably dress it up as something like Climate Justice or Restorative Health Outcomes, some shite like that, but make no mistake our woeful PM has just stepped onto the slippery slope towards agreeing to pay reparations.
