2.5TD injection pump removal and replacement

ok reading about the guy who took his pump apart n cant get it to run reminded me somewhere i had a link to the pump removal and replacement after exhaustive searching on my computer i found it!!
MODS if this is helpful pleae move it to the maintenance section as i can t seem to post it there?

Have you ever found any benefit from fractionaly advancing the pump timing on these engines?

strangely enough,twice!!both times to help with the hot start problem some engines seem to souffer from,also appears to make the engine a little livlier,
however the best way is to set it with a dti gauge,to take account of chain wear,this usually cures the hot start problem completely but its a fair amount of work to do it
