Son's cardiac update .................
« on: 25 May 2012, 19:49:12 »

Basically the procedure wasn't finished  :'(, it needs to be done again and is scheduled in for the 15th June. Yet another general anesthetic - grrrrr.

It's two weeks off work now and then again after the 2nd procedure. That takes him to the 1st week in July - with a few days off in between which he must take as leave.

So, hacked off in summary - him & us ..............

The only good news is that they have explained how this happened - so understanding that helps a lot. Due to complexities they ran out of time within a safety window so stopped. Nobody's fault, hey ho, that's life ......

Sorry to hear this.
I have seen your other threads and it's clear to see the amount of strain you are all under.

Was this an ablation? Sometimes it does take more than one try, it is particularly difficult to do and needs to be done right rather than hurried through.

Hope it all goes to plan, all the best.
