Guessing the radio works, just not the cd?

Known issue with that model, sadly needs to be sent off for repair.  A regular member in this section runs a repair business that can do it - Dave DND

OK, that probably is a question for Dave DND, a audio repair specialist.

Head unit and radio will each require a different code, and I can guarantee that from your description, that you have inputted 3 incorrect codes into the CDC2, hence now giving the error message of 7-Safe.

That now means that you will need to leave the radio and ignition switched on for up to 2 hours to reset before you enter another code number -

DO NOT ENTER THE SAME CODE YOU HAVE BEEN UNSING - IT IS INCORRECT

I can help with the CDC2 code here

The OP states that`s it`s a CCR2006. One code only.

OK - there is obviously a conflict here.

In order to assist further, we need to be certain what the model number is, what the display says, and exactly what is being done.

If code for a 2006 is being asked for, CDC and a number is NOT within its vocabulary.

CDC SAFE and a number only applies to an external changer, and again is NOT within the vocabulary of a CCR2006

CDC-SAFE without a number indicates a software failure of the CCR2006 head unit

SAFE and a number less than 10 means an incorrect code has been entered into a head unit

More info needed

Actually, might be advisable to get the unit sent over here and lest see what we can find for you - I have a suspicion that the head unit is codelocked and the changer may have failed
