If its not the washer it might be the 2 bolts that hold the assy in place in the door, these come loose after a while

Finally replaced mine a couple of days ago after it had been driving me up the wall for months. Bliss! If only all repairs were as easy.

It really bugs me. Which is why I get through 100s of those little buggers - everyone who comes round gets a new one if it sounds noisy!

Just seen link to the fix. Dont think its this now as noise is comin from other end of door by door lock. :-?
