Polarised lenses. 100% guaranteed.

Normal shades don't quite do it.

Just a suggestion,,,how about trying that stuff that stops mobile phones slipping off the dashboards. I have the same problem just think it's a design fault. 8-)

Had the same problem.  Got the matt finish cockpit (!) cleaner and polarised glasses and it was ok

I've had this problem with granada's too and my solution was always to have polarising sunglasses in the car. Pain in the rear end when your other half drives your car - wears the sunglasses - puts them on top of their head when they get out and all of a sudden your glasses are in the house and not the car.  :'(

My approach has been as follows:

1) Use a simple window cleaner on the inside (i.e. Mr Muscle) rather than a car glass polish

2) Clean the dash with 1001 carpet cleaning solution, it leaves it clean but leaves no residue behind so gets it back to its original mattish look.

I'd agree with Mark on this one but would add - don't forget to get the outside of the glass just as clean as the inside - it does make a difference.

Similar as Mark DTM:
NilGlass cleaner for the screen, Urad cleaner (superb on the leather as well) on the dash.
Very clean, but not glossy.
Not had a problem since - Its a black interior....

Cheers Guys, I'm going to try some of this stuff out.
Rubbing my cockpit to a matt finish in dark glasses sounds great!!!

I've got bright yellow non-slip in my works van, it's a pain when it's sunny...  they hadn't got black the day I really needed it ;D ;D ;D
