there are two press fit plastic clips each side of the handel, it is very tight and awkward i damaeged the hole were it fits into , it could be easyer to take the box out first for access..

Bill,

This is how I did it.  Have a look at the handle.  There are two plastic sides with two lugs on each.  When you fit this in to the recess in the glovebox, you need to angle the handle in such a way that the side nearest the centre console goes in first then as you push the other side in to the recess, use the screwdriver to press the plastic side in (not in as in to the recess but in as in to the centre of the handle - towards the other side like you're squeezing the sides together).
