« on: 22 October 2007, 19:40:20 »

A couple of days ago i did a coolant change and found a rubber grommit in the engine undersheild   which i could not place as to where it was originally fitted so i left it off,now the washer bottle has started to drip,i cant see how there related as such but the washer bottle was not dripping before, maybe the gromit is from the washer motor? any thoughts? before i have a look.

Could have come from headlight washer pump (if applicable), windscreen washer pump (will have a gauze in it), or level sensor.  If not any of these, it probably didn't come from washer bottle...

From memory, that will be windscreen washer pump.  The grommet/gauze is available on its own.  It can be done with bumper in place, but tad fiddly...
