DBW runs slightly cooler I believe - should still be halfway up gauge...

Sounds a bit cool to me, my 2.2 sits between 85 and 90, i thought 2.2's ran a bit cooler than v6's.

Whats the temp like when doing 60-70mphish?

Hmm well, it is at 84deg by about 1.5 to 2 miles, as to fast driving, it is dark and slippery so only get to 70 occasionally.

I'm sure it was around 90 in the summer.

Where is the temperature sensor mounted - could it be the evaportator?

Mine never budges from 85, before you ask, yes it quickly gets there.
