Many Thanks to anyone who helped
« on: 31 October 2010, 17:44:52 »

Things are looking hopeful .. not completely out of the woods yet ... but decent progress. No-ones donation has been in vain, and if you were "hanging back" just in case it all went down the pan ... your donation would still be very much appreciated .. :)

Thanks to all and any OOFers who donated

Why?

A few reasons

1) They cocked up my donation details so I dont get any of the news letters etc, they just take the cash.

2) They seem incapable of sorting the above out

3) All I ever get is begging letters, they already get 240 quid a year!

4) I may well have a more deserving cause soon  :y

I stopped my donations to the Trust some time ago, they seem to have a knack of treating the supporters and volunteers like mushrooms and refusing to discuss their management structure and their management of 558.
The locking of the old website was the final straw for me and has lost them an awfull lot of supporters and goodwill.
I still contribute to the a/c but do it via the club who make targeted donations to the a/c upkeep, at least this way I feel someone is looking at the best way to spend the donations rather than it going to pay exec. salaries etc.
