genuine VX cambelt problem
« on: 05 May 2007, 19:47:50 »

I know I am not the only one. The latest batch of genuine VX cambelts have no timing marks on. WHY????? Reg vardy, my local appalling vx dealer checked 3 lots and they were all the same. No timning marks.

Anyone know why? Even better, just how I am supposed to fit this sodding belt now. Dopn't worry, I will, but all the same - how rather stupid!

Ive just done my first one and that had no makings on which caused alot of head and arse scratching but I used the old belt to mark tthe new belt, luckily the old markings where just visable and I was kacking myself when I first started it ::)

I trained as a Psychologist (really - though it was many many years ago...), so let me try and help you:

Think about it, what's the worst that can happen?

Err... actually... not such a good idea. forget, forget, don't think about it...  :(

Well now you know why I was a lousy psychologist...  ;D
