Mr Bean is selling his car.
« on: 05 February 2015, 12:22:26 »

Not the crappy mini....the other one.

The 'other one' being a 1997 McLaren F1 with 41,000 miles under it's wheels.

For those of you who are genuinely interested in buying the car, the price is a mere £8 million.

This represents a good investment on the paltry £540,000 purchase price in 1997.

Only Aaron, Taxi Al, and Andy B....eanz need apply. :y

Apparently, when it was first mentioned a few weeks back, it was suggested that rather than being a museum piece, the fact that the car had been used regularly, crashed and rebuilt and generally enjoyed in a noexpensespared manner actually made it more interesting and therefore more desirable/valuable... 8)

With 41,000 on the clock is it about to become a money pit? If so, it sounds like the desirable sister-in-law/general pussy puller mid-life crisis car that Lord Opti has been searching and searching for and at £8m, for M'lud, that's loose change money, so he won't even have to pay a visit to his dovecot. :P :P :P

If it were a mere six million I could be tempted. ;D

Eight million is too much for an old macca that has been wrapped around a tree like Marc Bolan's mini. ;)

Being white, I'm not sure Lord Opti would want the expense of a constant stream of Kosovars having to wash and polish it every time it went so far as even looking at a road.

However, he would be able to hand out the accompanying air fresheners to his friends by the box load.
