Approaching 100k miles
« on: 26 June 2008, 14:44:12 »

Got a couple of hundred miles to go before I pass the 100 000 miles mark - does it feel the same as when you get to 30 years old?  :-/

I crossed 30 earlier this year and it wasn't too bad really - for some reason I thought it would be...

Debs is that the 'wood' trim?
Or is it real in miggys?

either way it doesnt matter since mine doesnt have wood trim. Its done 212K, 5 of which are my miles.

I did put 145K on a mondeo that died at 150K. Yeah the car stopped being that nice thing we bought and became the car that the backstreet garage cared for, rather than the Fraud dealers.

(you may have noticed the gap from owning a 1 year old car with 5K miles to a 14 year old car with 207K miles. Always loved Omega's. My bank account no longer loves ex fleet cars though)
