Pop up adverts
« on: 07 November 2014, 13:54:07 »

My local newspaper website has always been a pain in the arse to read due to the pop up adverts / videos ect but over the last few months, its now become nearly impossible to use  >:( >:(

Can anybody recommend any freebee 3rd party software which will block these piggin things before I blow a fuse

I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate / Essentials / Peer Block 1.2 if that helps

TIA  :)

Do the honourable thing, and stop using that site. Then hopefully the greedy bastards will come to their senses if enough people do it...  ...and slowly the internet will be rid of ads

Occasionally, I end up sitting in front of a browser without it and realise what the web is really like these days. :o
