Bush kits?
« on: 24 March 2014, 22:28:08 »

Just a simple quick Q really ... does anyone supply poly bush kits for the front end of FL omega B's ?? If so are they worth bothering with and are all of the parts for the front wishbones available ? Not wanting to cheap out but want something that will last for long term, I'm aware that I will likely have to poly bush the entire front end not just bits and bobs of it  :)

If it's a no-no then Vx parts it will be  :y

Powerflex sell what you require :y

Along with VX rear (vertical front wishbone) bushes and ball joints...

Poly fronts available, poly rear bushes still being trialled by some, I abandoned mine after a handling issue, and another had a sheared wishbone.

So for now, no rear poly can be recommended for front wishbones

Fantastic advice as always  :y I would guess Vx sell the rear bushes ??? I'm suffering with what I can only explain as braking instability at the moment, the car likes to weave around a little under braking (very predictable though)! I'm wanting to overhaul the entire front end soon to address all the issues as at 117k (nearly 118k) I think she deserves it  :)

Currently, I'd recommend Powerflex front bushes, GM vertical bushes (approx. £20+VAT trade, each) and if the balljoint has plan, Lemforder balljoints (£15 a throw from AGP).

This is a combination I currently use on both Omegas (well, the Lemforder balljoints are only on one car ;D)
