key program after burglary
« on: 06 August 2013, 21:09:43 »

Hi I was burgled last week and one of the keys for the mig went with the wifes handbag. I have got a new ign barrel and door lock from Steve at  omega spares along with a couple of fobs. I now need the fobs programmed to car. I don't have the car pass. Can anyone on here help me out please.

You need the code from the pass to programme your fobs. Any fobs already coded to the car (ie the one that was nicked) will be 'de-coded' from the car when the new fobs are programmed to the car via Tech II

That's if you transfer the whole immobiliser over from the donor car so TechII isn't needed.  :y

None starter then without it ....... no pun intended.  ::)

Ask around your local Vx dealerships for a price, it can vary from c£20 to c£50 for a Car Pass  :y
