Similar to the Mercedes I did a few months back, this one has a stupid Service Interval Display (SID) to reset after it's done  ::)

This is a 56 plate Supercharged bad boy. Anyone know if there's anything to be aware of?

The oil filter is in the engine bay and it's an element jobbie with a 30mm (or something like that) nut.

Any extra info would be grat... like to be as prepared as possible :)

My Jeep has one of those and it won't re-set so get a message every time is starts up telling me 'service due'.... ::) ::)

Have you Googled for a way to reset it? The Merc has one, as does her Smart, they both count miles & time down to the next service, but you are able to reset them both. They're both reset by pressing odometer buttons within so many seconds of turning the ignition on.  ;)
