Agreed! The front wipers also are not renowed for their rubber quality but atleast they are easily inspected:'(

check rear wheel bearings on the Jazz. They are a common problem and not cheap about £130 a side.

£130 you can get a lot of omega for that money

I would urge you not to buy a Honda Jazz.

They are absolutely renowned for oil pump/ pressure problems, which cause the con-rods to come flying through the block. The camshafts also seem to be made out of butter, there have been umpteen reports of snapped ones.

In addition - someone mentioned the rear wheel bearings. The answer is yes, they do indeed fail. Regularly. I have read of more than one occasion when the rear wheel has come off, still attached to hub, and actually overtaken the car...

I have now paid deposit for a JAZZ as mrs does not fancy a Astra and she will be driving it around town.

I was personally keen on Astra but now looking forward to the Jazz.

Hope I will not be kicked out of this forum though

Speaking of camber adjustments there is no other place like WIM - I was there last weekend and I was not charged a single dime for minor adjustments (before there in summer and paid for the usual price). Tony did work for 30mins and I was a happy customer who will return time and again
