its common for the slides to stick, preventing the calipers returning, on all the cars this has happened to me on the pedal has always returned to the top, and no brake light on.

most likely the rear handbrake binding, check the return springs havent fallen off, and if needed lubricate the handbrake cable

you may need to service the handbrake shoes if you didnt already when you changed the pads.

There is a mod to the exhaust system that involves moving these sensors at the front to prevent the error codes cropping up, its in the maint section.  worth doing if you are going to have the car on a ramp.

I think its the remote start side of things he wants more than the alarm, but generally sold as a package.

I personally use the wife as my remote start, saves me getting cold before I hop in.  ;D ;D ;D

the v6 ecu will run with the 4 pot abs ecu, but the 4 pot ecu wont run the tc unit.

hence why the 4 pot abs system is prefferred for v8 conversions etc.

you will need to change the engine loom, ecu (with matching chips and barrell reader)

you will also need additional parts,

exhausts with heatshields for the other side of the floor,
Air intake system, front struts and springs (possibly just springs)  160mph speedo, gear lever and linkage (reverse is in a different place on gear knob)

and a shed load of time, theres alot of other stuff that i can remember or have time to write here.

so the car better be a minter or its not worth doing.

that isnt a vaux part no. aftermarket by looks of it. I wouldnt touch anything except genuine when it comes to brakes.

 :y

Close .... but no cigar!  ;) You're 100 mm out on each disc  ;) they're 286mm and the later discs are 296mm  :y  :y
