its all in the prep. remember most people clean car interiors with silicone polishes and paint hates anything that has sniffed silicone.

Now this I get! Noisy check link and it has broken part of the A pillar! I must fix that bugger!!! :-/Ive replaced mine , is it true that if the door clicks its an MOT failure nowWHAT? Is that for real? I know there have been some changes but a clicking door???
Apart from it being annoying i replaced mine as i heard on here that it was an mot fail as the door wont hold open to stop it slamming shut if the bushes are worn
Different fault .. although not replacing the bushes when they first start making a noise can result in the further failure of the checkstrap mechanism which rips out of the door, which then won't stay open ..... one leads to the other eventually ....
