Hi all,

Hopefully getting a 2001 CDX soon, with a standard CCR2006. I'm thinking about putting the following in, for better sound, more toys etc, and to allow me to use my ipod:

Head Unit (http://caraudiosecurity.com/shop/product/products_id/4893/referer/rc_froogle.html)

Not sure where to get a double din adapter yet.

Bluetooth adapter (http://www.justkenwood.co.uk/stock01/kcabt100.asp)

Steering wheel controls adapter (http://www.justkenwood.co.uk/install/show_model.asp?id=285) - not sure which one yet?

iPod adapter (http://www.justkenwood.co.uk/stock01/kcaip500.asp)

I have an amp already, which I'm either going to drive a 12" sub in the boot, or fit 16.5cm speakers like these (http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/dynamics-sd61-p-5520.html) driven from the sub output on the head unit. These would be fitted into the speaker mounts in the parcel shelf, as per Bose. Does the Bose cut through the parcel shelf cover? I was figuring that if they are just for bass, they could remain hidden below the cover?

Also going to replace the speakers in the front doors, using Corsa B 165mm slanted adapters? Any recommendations on speakers for the front doors?

How does this sound?

Mike

Double din adapters available on same site, just keep scrolling down on your original page.  :y

Ahh yes thanks Dave  :y but that is the part that fits into the back of the headlamp, I am looking for the actual sensors which sit on the n/s front and rear suspension and control the motors which you have found, Cheers

Apologies if this is in the wrong section.

Does anyone know where I can get both front and rear sensors (new) other than going to Vaux?

Thanks

Omega Electrical and Audio Help / CCR 2006 in dash cd changer
« on: 30 September 2007, 18:22:15 »
Hi, new members first post so please be gentle, just got my hands on a 51 plate 2.2 cdx and the 4 disc magazine which fits into the dash changer will not engage.
According to the drivers manual you are suppose to push it in gently until it clicks  ;D
Well it doesn't, it just pops forward again and the display reads magazine.
Any ideas would be gratfully received.

Item 13 in the diagram on this thread, http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/YaBB.pl?num=1237989198, has probably popped off - if it decides to do the same at both ends then you've lost it

Is the MAF used when running LPG?

Yes it is used continuously as the air intake is flowing through it, you could try cleaning it or unplug it and see if there's any difference

Did you clean the throttle body when you did the breathers?
