Which model of the Astra G range would have had an NCDC 2013 / CID fitted ?  :-\

Started considering selling it. I haven't had it long, but Ive seen a 740i I like.  ::)

Might be best to have a look before you spend more money on it ?

I have wondered if it would be possible to change the fluid by having the engine running and disconnecting the pipes from the cooler.
The old ATF could be collected as it comes from the pipe going to the cooler while the new ATF could be sucked in via the return pipe from the cooler ?
I suppose the flaw in the theory is that the old filter gets left where it is.  :-\

Agreed. Cutting the front slam panel off makes engine removal easier for a start.  :y

no i bought it with no mot and didnt know it had been for one else where previously. ive since had it mot'd at a garage near me who passed it and before anyone asks no it wasnt a bent ticket either. perhaps it went to a mot testing station such as kwik fit or similar who was trying to find work it didnt need i dont know aint the first time ive had that in the past certain garages failing it on stuff it didnt need in the first place.

That could be true, but if I had just bought it I would give it a close inspection on the areas mentioned above.  ;)

Despite all the rhetoric, they want our money. The Germans in particular. Juncker has no real power. Merkel runs the EU.

Verstappen driving around the outside of Rosberg on the wet line was as good a move as Ive seen in any era of F1 racing.
He is going to be the one who gives Hamilton trouble in the near future imo.

To be fair, most of the drivers were less than happy about starting behind the safety car, but they had no choice.
It may not have been an all time classic in pure racing terms, but Hamilton gave a masterclass in wet weather driving.
He is on a different level to the others in terms of driving talent.

I asked the same question a week or so ago. I got the answer I expected, but thought it best to check.
If you find a supply of Omega style NCDC 2013 / CID,s give me a shout. :D

Call me a conspiracy theorist if you like, but I wouldn't be at all surprised if an 'event' happens that leads the Government to overrule the referendum result in the 'national interest'.  :-X

I'm absolutely sure that's what will happen - whether or not that's likely to trigger a complete implosion in the (current) Tory party.

Despite how I voted I don't think they will be able to ignore the continuously falling exchange rate, share prices etc and not do something to protect the interests of the corporate world (which, in reality, tends to be our interests too as they pay our wages in one way shape or form), even if it means career suicide.

Ho hum.

I don't think that will happen. The Tory party wold be in 10 times the chaos Labour are currently in, within 24 hours. It will be more subtle than that. They may well try to leave us with one foot in and one foot out though, to try to pleas everyone to some extent and end up pleasing no-one.
Aka - the good old British compromise.
I hope I'm wrong and Theresa turns out to be the next Thatcher and wipes the floor with every "wet" in sight.  :)

She failed to mention though, if she intends to remain a member of the single market or not.  ;)
I don't trust her, although she has played quite a clever game over the last couple of months.

Its just started to rain, just before the start, so there should be some excitement.
Here we go. Come on Lewis.  :)

F1 at Brands was a sight to behold. I loved watching it there. Ive never liked Silverstone, but it is well suited to the mind bendingly fast modern F1 cars.
Apparently next season they are going to make the racing better for spectators by giving the cars MORE downforce !!
You couldn't make it up. ::)
